ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, drug possession, having a dog at large, failure to notify of an accident and DUIs. Here is information from the reports: Domestic battery Neal Erickson, 32, of Elmhurst, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Villa on a charge of domestic battery. According to a police report, Erickson grabbed the victim and shook him. Erickson was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Drug possession Jose Moreno, 24, of Cicero, was arrested about 2 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of South York on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, possession of open alcohol by a driver, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. According to a police report, Moreno had a 38-gram candy bar containing psilocybin. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Dog at large Jade Wallace, 23, of Elmhurst, was cited about 7 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of South Arlington on a charge of having a dog at large. According to a police report, a woman was walking her dog when the animal was attacked by Wallace's dog, causing a bite or scratch mark in the stomach area. Failure to notify Nancy Henry, 73, of Elmhurst, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Robert Palmer on a charge of failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle. She was released on bond. Jack Kowalczyk, 54, of Wood Dale, was cited about 8 p.m. Thursday at Junior Terrace and Mary Court on charges of driving with a suspended license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to give aid or information in an accident involving personal injury. According to a police report, Kowalczyk's car hit a dog. He was released on bond. DUI Nadia Nunez, 33, of Downers Grove, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of South York on a charge of DUI. According to a police report, Nunez was found asleep behind the wheel. She was released on bond. Shanae N. Davis, 29, of Alsip, was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday in the 900 block of North York on charges of DUI, transportation of open alcohol, illegal parking on the roadway and driving an uninsured vehicle. According to a police report, she was asleep behind the wheel. She was released on bond. Bryan Galicia, 24, of Chicago, was arrested about 9 p.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Elizabeth on charges of DUI and speeding. He was released on bond. Driving violations Delmi Perez-Perez, 39, of Addison, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Grand Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, disobeying a traffic signal and driving without a seatbelt. She was released on bond.Antonio Funez Lopez, 19, of Bensenville, was cited about 9 p.m. Friday at Church and Lake on charges of no valid driver's license, driving with an expired license and tinted windows. He was released on bond. Marco Antonio US Tiniguar, 28, of Hoffman Estates, was cited about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at York and Diversey on charges of no valid driver's license, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lighting. He was released on bond. Byron Dodd, 32, of Maywood, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Lexington and York on charges of driving with a suspended license and no valid registration.
