EUGENE, OREGON! MKTG (a dentsu network agency) is hiring On-Site Event Brand Ambassadors to support an athletic event on behalf of our automotive brand client. Event: USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon Event Location & Schedule: - Outdoor venue near E.15th Ave, Eugene, OR 97403 Day 1: Thursday, 6/23: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (4 hour min) Day 2: Friday, 6/24: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM (4 hour min) Day 3: Saturday, 6/25: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (4 hour min) Day 4: Sunday, 6/26: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM (4 hour min) Brand Ambassador Role: MKTG Event Brand Ambassadors are marketing enthusiasts who educate consumers on our client’s brand messaging during on-site live events. Brand Ambassadors will actively engage with consumers and event attendees with the goal of increasing brand awareness, building consumer trust and maximizing stakeholder satisfaction. As a Brand Ambassador, you will have a wide range of on-site job responsibilities related to engaging consumers to recognize and prefer our client brands. For this reason, MKTG hires personable, friendly, and professional ambassadors. This is not a remote position. You must be able to work on-site / on-location and have reliable transportation to get to the event. On-Site Event Brand Ambassadors will assist our client with their outdoor (VIP) “Owners Parking Lot" - helping to select some car owners to access this parking lot, welcome the owners into the parking lot and distribute items. Qualifications: - Must be professional, attentive to guest needs, welcoming, talkative: will be interacting with clients, families, consumers and general public - Follows direction well but can also be proactive – flexible with placement. - Comfortable being on your feet and outdoors. Ability to lift 25 lbs. - Organized, experience with logistics/line management - Willingness to be a team player in the busy atmosphere of an event - Passion to learn about brands, new products, new brand initiatives, new technologies, among many other things - Marketing/promotional experience or hospitality background - Organized, experience with logistics/line management - 18 years or older - Valid to work as an employee in the US - Must have own method of transportation to and from the event RATE: $30/hr via W2 The shift will likely last only about ~2 hours, but you would be paid for a 4-hour minimum (if arrive on time / released by the manager at the time of departure). The position is for a Part-Time Occasional Hourly W2 employee. ATTIRE Event is outdoor in a covered tent, so temperature can potentially get warm. Please arrive with POLO TOP in colors: Black, Red, OR White. For bottoms, either black or khaki pants (professional shorts are okay, if warm). Being hired as an Event Brand Ambassador does not guarantee that the employee will be assigned to any particular quantity of assignments.
