Potential to grow with the company and widen expertise and knowledge base in canine social dynamics, AKC title certification preparation, dog agility training and dog training for our human clients through our private and group classes and workshops. We are a small local business with a big clientele and even bigger standards of service and care. Candidates must be focused, knowledgeable or willing to learn, must take initiative, be self-reliant, driven, dependable and able to use respect and mindfulness when interacting with coworkers and clients. k9HS - Dog Trainer Apprentice This is a part-time to full-time position working closely with our head trainer managing our Dog Training School Programs. Our head trainer holds multiple Professional Dog Trainer certifications and accreditations and is a certified mentor trainer for multiple dog training certification schools where he educates and mentors aspiring dog trainers. Most importantly, our head trainer has over a decade experience in dog training and has a wealth of experience to mentor the right candidate for this position. This is a very dynamic and physical job, but very rewarding for someone that enjoys the outdoors but also has a mind for science and dog behavior. The right candidate must be genuinely interested in learning, but must already posses strong computer and organizational skills, as well as the capacity to manage multiple projects at once. Candidates in the process of obtaining or looking to obtain a Professional Dog Trainer Certification are ideal matches for this position.
