Wanted - Shipping Associate - Growing Family Business

We are a small family-owned eCommerce business selling arts and craft supplies, and we are seeking a motivated self-starting individual to help us with our day-to-day operations. The title will be Shipping Associate, but you will wear many different hats depending on what the day brings. We operate out of a clean and climate-controlled warehouse setting in the Easthampton Mill Building. Daily tasks include: • Picking, scanning, packing, and shipping orders • Quality control on orders • Tagging and inventorying incoming products • Receiving and restocking merchandise • Daily mail runs to the Post Office Job Requirements • Attention to detail • You will be working with small things and need to have good hand dexterity • Must be able to lift and move a 30 lbs box occasionally • Comfortable being on your feet for 8 hours • Good attitude and a self-starting mentality • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Schedule • Monday - Friday 10am to 6pm • Saturday 9am to 1pm • Some holidays Pay Rate • $16/hour • $24/hour over 40 hours/week • Bonuses We are moving our business from Houston, TX to Easthampton, MA at the end of July. We’d like to find someone who is willing to fly to Houston for 1-2 weeks to train (optional, but would be great), and also be available to work a couple of weekends in our new warehouse in Easthampton while we are getting set up.
