ERL is a Wine Distribution Center seeking a full-time, experienced, lead warehouse associate. We are looking for the right individual to help us grow substantially over the next few years. The job includes overseeing incoming and outgoing inventory (receiving and shipping, inspection, configuration, shipping, hiring, training, developing and supervising team members). Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to external customers. Duties & Responsibilities: • Unloads and moves inbound freight product to storage locations safely and efficiently • Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded • Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets both customer and company standards • Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas • Ships, receives, loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a forklift, electric or manual pallet jack, or other power equipment • Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner following defined work methods and procedures • Monday thru Thursday drive 25’ Box Truck on a one stop route, 6.5 miles one way to Fulfillment Center • Oversee a team of warehouse employees (2-3people) by creating and managing workflow for the team. Skills Required: • 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience with warehouse equipment • Sit Down & Standup Forklift Operation • Strong Organizational Skills (planning, directing, prioritizing, time management) • Self-Disciplined, proven track record as an implementor. • Strong Communication Skills – able to present Self and Company professionally and effectively via telephone, in writing and face-to-face. A “can do” and “whatever it takes” attitude. • Ability to work overtime from week to week. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred • Minimum 3 years warehouse, distribution, supply chain experience Hours Monday 9:00 to 5:00 Tuesday thru Friday 10:30 to 6:30 Benefits Monthly stipend for an individual healthcare plan.
