Zen Asset Management is seeking a full time Facilities and Maintenance Technician at our main facility in Lacey. This position deals with routine systems maintenance, surprise fixes, and oversees grow room cleaning and maintenance. If you like to dig into problems, take instructions well, and enjoy working independently on a predictable set of duties – this could be great fit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in the following experience: Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Perform daily walk throughs and keep preventative maintenance procedures and protocols up to date Handle emergency requests and know when to call for help Know the ins and outs (and get certified) on forklifts and scissor lifts Keep well organized and ensure safety protocols for all onsite equipment (hoses stored, chemicals marked, etc.) Responsible for deep cleans and daily cleanliness of the site Handle receiving of goods as needed Ability to follow Standard Operations Procedures and schedules as necessary Other relevant maintenance duties Experience with Excel, Outlook, MS Word. This is a 40 hour a week job, with a general schedule of 7:30 to 4:15; there may be limited on-call and overtime shifts. As a cannabis cultivation facility, be advised that the working conditions are very humid and the facility smells strongly of cannabis.
