About This Role The Foundation & Excavation Project Manager will play a vital role when it comes to planning, coordinating, organizing, and overseeing the framing and utility Installations of all MN Custom Homes. This individual is responsible for overseeing and supervising all construction activities that take place during the demolition, excavation, and foundation installation phases. The Foundation & Excavation Project Manager will collaborate with the Director of Construction and partner with Project Managers. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a desire to lead and apply their construction expertise to building remarkable homes. On a given day, your work might include: • Directing all construction activities; demolition, excavation, and foundation installation phases • Performing regular quality assurance inspections • Leading all field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule • Maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, supplies, local authorities, and other employees • Reviewing and understanding Blueprints and shop drawings • Ensuring job site safety practices and reporting job site hazards immediately Physical Requirements: • This position requires use of a computer, including keyboard functions, hand and finger movement, and visual acuity of 20 inches or fewer on a daily basis • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion with or without accommodation • Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders; walk the job-site throughout the day and negotiate work areas under construction Travel & Vehicle Requirements: • Travel between job sites within a 5-mile radius of Bellevue and Kirkland is required • Valid WA State Driver’s License • Acceptable driving record & proof of vehicle insurance What You’ll Need to Succeed • High school diploma required and/or bachelor’s degree preferred • 5+ years of on-site supervisory experience • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and written and verbal communication skills • Experience in single-family construction and Bluebeam software • Willingness to be a proactive partner in a collaborative team environment and/or outside your immediate team • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills • Ability to (re)prioritize and multitask effectively under pressure • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams) • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to be furnished upon hire absent an approved accommodation Employee Benefits • 100% covered employee premiums for medical and dental self-coverage • 100% employer-paid life insurance • 401(K) with generous company match, no vesting schedule, and access to professional financial advisors • PTO & Holidays • Free onsite parking • New iPhone for your personal and business use • Complimentary snacks & beverages • Hybrid work schedule option combining remote work-from-home with regular weekly in-office workdays available, subject to change as determined by business needs MN Custom Homes is an equal opportunity employer
