Rehoming an Australian cattle dog/dachshund. She is about 1 year old. She is a friendly, sweet dog, and she is very active and playful. She is spade, chipped, up to date on shots, and in good health. She loves people. She loves to do zoomies and play tug of war. There are a couple of reasons we need to rehome her. 1. My husband is blind, so having a dog that is very active and playful is hard for him because he doesn't see her coming when she runs and jumps up on him or when she wants to play at his feet, which can be frustrating and dangerous. 2. We have a cat. She doesn't act aggressive toward the cat, but she does want to chase her. She barks and wags her tail when she sees the cat, and it seems like she just wants to play with the cat, but the cat does not like her. We put up a baby gate so the cat can have her own space in our house, but the cat is not happy about that. This little dog is very active and playful and would prefer being in a home with people that have the time and energy for her.
