I'll admit, Tesla is a cool product but not perfect. They are a cool idea but don't shove in don't the publics throat when we have 100's of years of fossil fuels available. It should be a choice not a requirement. 1. They take months to get. 2. If you live in a cold climate the performance suffers. 3. Driving cross country will take for ever. Hope you have a good book. 4. They cost an arm and a leg and maintenance and parts make European sports car look cheap. 5. Basic models are a joke. 6. Can't fuel your car if the power goes out. 7. Massive open pit mining to get the materials for the batteries. 8. Fuel still coming from the power grid and partial coal fired plants. 9. Cost for a new battery is off the planet. 10. Insurance is more costly.
