I am thinking about rehoming my Quaker parrot Rio. Sex is unknown. I have always called him a boy. He is very friendly but will take time to get use to you. He has never been cage aggressive to me. He does talk. He says “what are you doing”, “good boy”, “give me kiss”, and “thank you”. He does the kissing sounds and likes to mock you. He will laugh with you. I love him to death but unfortunately I just don’t have the time to give him like I use to. My living situation and work situation has changed and I just can’t give him the attention he needs. As of right now he stays locked in his cage most days and that is just not fair to him. He is 1. His estimated hatch date is October 12 2020. I’ve had him since he was 4 months old. I am asking a $500 rehoming fee for him and everything I have for him. He will come with his cage, his play stand, his travel carrier, all his toys, food, and anything else I find of his. He does have a vet if you would like to continue to take him there or to get his records transferred over. He is due for his yearly exam. Please pm me if interested. I am located in Greensboro, NC.
