Grounds Keeper/ Landscaper We are looking for an experienced landscape worker to help keep our farm beautiful. Top candidates can take direction and are hard-working with high attention to detail. This is not a temporary job; we are looking for someone to add to the year-round farm team. We do ask that all employees be vaccinated for Covid. Responsibilities: • Trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs • Mowing and edging • Preventing/eliminating weeds. • Operating power tools, such as weed whackers, blowers, trimmers, etc. • Planting and care of all flowers on the property. • Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as loppers, saws, and shovels efficiently. • Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash receptacles. • Minor maintenance to buildings on the property. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1+ years of previous Grounds/Maintenance experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Proficient in using manual and power tools safely. • Free from allergies that interfere with Groundskeeper duties. • Ability to follow instructions and take initiative. • Good communication. Must speak/understand English, though it does not have to be your first language. • Physically agile and dexterous. It is outdoor work which means you must be able and willing to work in the heat and/or rain. You must be able to pass an alcohol/drug screening and background check.
