Multi-Family Maintenance:
Summary: Responsible for performing all manners of maintenance on the property under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsible for reporting to Resident Manager daily.
Function: Performing service requests within 24 hrs. of receipt, with professionalism and accuracy. Repairing and/or replacing garbage disposals, light switches and fixtures, blinds, refrigerators, dishwashers, water heaters, stove/ranges, toilets, and miscellaneous fixtures. Performing basic plumbing duties including unclogging drains. Checking smoke detectors. Caulking as needed, changing locks etc. Performing light carpentry repairs, replacing doors, frames, windowsills, closet shelves. Duties will vary according to property staffing.
Qualifications: To fulfill this role successfully, an individual must be able to consistently perform all required functions to the satisfaction of his/her supervisor. The requirements define the necessary knowledge, skills, and ability to perform these essential functions. This position also requires a valid driver’s license. Must be courteous, service oriented, personable, outgoing, friendly, intelligent, flexible, honest, assertive, detail oriented, punctual, and organized.
Education: High School Education or equivalent, and minimum of two years active maintenance experience.
Skills: In depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, appliance repair, & minor construction.
FULL TIME: 40 Hours per week: $22 - $25 per hour (DOE)
