Role and Responsibilities: The Centrifuge Operator is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining process equipment. This person may be required to safely operate Centrifuge Technology and/or chemical treatment. In this role, you will perform routine procedures following written work instructions to complete processes and operate production equipment. You will also maintain documentation on processes to comply with organization and regulatory standards. Position Qualifications (Required): Must be able to work in a team environment Ability to ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner. Operate and maintain site process equipment. Record and maintain daily operations and preventive maintenance logs. Additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED (accredited). No prior work experience required, 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Must be able to complete pre-hire drug and/or alcohol testing and background check. Working Conditions: Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions for extended periods. Computer proficiency skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Base shift schedule is: 10-12 hrs/day, 4-5 days/week. (Dependent on facility, shift schedule may fall over weekends. Example: Thursday-Sunday). Additional weekend and alternating night shifts may be required. Additional call out hours for Saturdays and Sundays are expected, with longer working hours required during turnarounds or upsets. Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 50 pounds frequently Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) frequently Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements frequently Normal setting for this job is a refinery or petrochemical complex If this sounds like a great opportunity, we’d like to speak with you!
