Blaze Surveying and Mapping, LLC (Blaze) is looking for an Instrument Man / Rodman. This is an entry level position. Blaze is willing to train the right candidate. Survey experience is a plus, but not required. Salary is $15-$18 hourly depending on experience. In the role of Rodman/Instrument Man, you will be expected to carry out the duties and responsibilities described, but not limited to the following: • Carry supplies and equipment. • Utilize and train on specialized equipment and technology. • Use various hand tools and power tools. • The ability to hike, climb, hammer, dig, stand for long periods of time & lift heavy items. • Work outdoors in a variation of temperatures and weather conditions. • Communicate effectively and work as a team. • Cut and remove brush. • Drive stakes to set grades on construction projects. • Learn to read maps, plats and surveys.
