Carpenter’s Helper Wanted Local contractor is searching for a carpenter’s helper to assist in various tasks involving residential new construction, remodeling, and damage repair. Duties include completing basic demolition, cleaning up and preparing work sites, delivering materials, and setting up ladders and temporary structures. Your responsibilities also include removing, replacing, and installing doors, trim, baseboards, cabinets, flooring, windows, bathroom vanities, and more. The preferred qualifications include a high school diploma as well as one to two years of construction and/or carpentry experience. You must be able to follow directions, have a basic understanding of framing, trim, and flooring installation. Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills are required as well as a positive attitude, the ability to collaborate with a team, and a valid driver’s license. You may be asked to pass a drug test and background check. Physical requirements include being able to bend, climb, and lift at least 50 pounds throughout your day. Pay based on experience. Holiday pay and PTO.
