Please apply at our store, ONLY IF the following REQUIREMENTS ARE MET: You must have a valid driver license with a good or excellent driving record Minimum of 5 years driving experience Preferably Able to drive Manual Transmission (Stick Shift) Preferably (but not required) bilingual in Spanish Preferably (but not required) some construction or handyman background ***Glass handling and installing experience required, but we will train as you go*** Pay rate: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour (B.O.E) Applicant must: Be able to write and speak English clearly Have excellent penmanship Show some organizational skills Show some leadership skills Show some critical thinking skills Have great communications skills Be polite, courteous and be able to get along well with others Have great punctuality and flawless attendance Have logical perception (Common sense is a must!) Have the basic skill on how to read and use a measuring tape Be familiar with basic math and fractions (It’s a MUST!!!) Candidate will be learning and performing the following duties, but not limited to: Handling, organizing, cutting, & polishing glass Driving to pick-up material from point A to point B Inspecting and interpreting data, in order to provide glass “cut sizes” Taking out trash, glass debris, & cleaning out the company vehicles Organizing around the shop area Partnered up with a lead Installer, here are some of the duties you will perform Field inspecting and measuring for clients Commercial and residential window glass replacement Mirror installations, Residential window screens and rewires Shower door installations (Framed & Frameless) Residential vinyl window installations, Door repair and adjustments General window repairs, Architectural film application New table and desk glass tops FYI: Candidate will be taking a 45minute (34 questions) pre-qualification employee exam.
