Remember this name... Lexi Kays from Youngstown OHLexi’s vocals validate and alleviate stress with a single note, and her stage presence exudes an honest passion for the music she creates. Growing up she had practiced her craft of songwriting and performance exhaustively. Her focus then, shows us now, how powerful music can be, and what it’s for. Lexi Kays has been performing throughout the midwest in various projects since 2015. When the pandemic hit and shows slowed down, she decided to pull together a band of her own and start working on songs she had been writing over the last couple years. Initially starting with only a handful songs, the band proved to be an integral part in the advancement of Lexi’s songwriting, and with this advancement they continued to add songs until it resulted in her debut album, Hush, scheduled for release on June 3rd, 2022. Lexi’s band has a technical prowess and deliverance that gives each show its own honest vibe. Lexi Kays has established a healthy network with artists all around the Midwest which allows her to offer help in booking other bands for a strong lineup and effectively promoting and drawing at each venue she performs at on the road. West & WardWith their upcoming EP, West & Ward will join the fight to eradicate the stigma preventing much-needed conversations about mental health from taking place. Their brand of Americana, which also borrows from genres including traditional pop and rock, will get the studio treatment for the first time thanks to a Kickstarter campaign that became the site’s most funded music project ever to come out of York. The duo consists of Elijah Cross and Macy K, who began performing together in 2019. Taking their name from the actors who portrayed Batman & Robin on TV in the 60s, their live shows similarly feature silly banter before getting down to business.
