Help plan and throw a SOMA block party

I’m a resident in SOMA and I would like to throw a block party for other residents and communities who may be in need in the area. I’m looking for any kind of help whether that’s for planning or actually facilitating the event. I have done a little bit of research on how to do it but this is still in an early stage so if you would like to participate this is a good time to reach out. I’m an artist and designer interested in community projects like this, please tell me a little bit about yourself too when you reach out.
