The second day there was an additional delay due to one of the witnesses not being available at the last minute (his wife went into labor). I think most viewers will come to realize that most of the people in the White House were well aware that all the claims of election fraud were unsubstantiated. To use former Attorney General Bill Barr's phrase the claims of election fraud were "bullshit". Even Trump's daughter said she respected and believed Attorney General Bill Barr, of course Trump did not.
