You are missing the point. The recent mass killings were done with legally purchased guns. Second thing, when the shooter does the murder suicide (or death by cop) thing, your harsh prison sentence is not too effective. The cat is already out of the bag, so to speak The technology has outpaced the law. When you can slaughter tens of people in seconds and hundreds in minutes then maybe the law needs some updating. When in your though process do you give consideration to the innocent people who get killed and maimed by gun violence. Don't they have some rights. Aren't their rights being denied to them. Is their right to live not higher than some crybaby's right to pack a gun? By the way, you notice the wording of some here on craigslist. The word tyrant keeps on being thrown about. You understand why that word is being used? By labeling any person who does something that is not to the agreement of the Mega Maga Morons it becomes an act of tyranny. Since supposedly guns are needed to prevent tyranny you understand that to the demented Mega Maga Morons that gives them the right to whip out their guns, that they are all to happy to use and overthrow our democratic system
