SafeRacks is a manufacturer of high quality overhead garage storage racks for the home garage. We partner with local handymen to provide installation services to our customers. Description: Independent Contractor wanted We are a nationwide, residential garage storage rack company and we are seeking a part-time installer for 2+ days per week. The work includes installation of overhead storage racks and wall shelves for our customers in the DFW area and surrounding suburbs. This position is for part-time, independent, installation work. You must have your own tools to accomplish the job. (Independent contract work) Minimum Tools Required to Apply: - Reliable Truck or Van - ladder (must be able to install in at least 12ft ceilings) - Usual Standard tools: Hammer, Screw driver, Flathead, etc... - Cordless drill - Stud Sensor - Smart phone internet connected, tablet or laptop (Iphone or Android to run Company Field Software) - General liability insurance policy Skills Required to Apply: - Good attitude with references - Excellent driving record (will be checked prior to hiring) - Must have 2+ years’ experience in construction trades or handyman - Able to use Google Calendar and have your own mobile internet access - Forklift experience is a plus but not required. - Customer interaction experience. Able to work with and satisfy customer needs and communicate with the corporate office. BTW, this is not a sales gig. This is a good paying opportunity to add additional income and clients to your existing handyman/construction business. The current payouts are: $50 per rack Upsells (providing your own customers or convincing one of ours to add more than we noted down): this is plus the 50 per rack $30 extra per rack for 8ft and 6ft racks. $20 extra per rack for any 2x6 or 4x4 size rack. Most of our installers take about 30 minutes to an hour to install a rack so it’s a great way to make some extra money while getting your name out into a busy market.
