Will there be food and drink available? - Beer, wine, water, and soft drinks will be available for purchase as well as snack food (chips, cookies, etc.) Where do I park? - There is limited parking available outside of the venue, but we recommend utilizing street parking off of Ferguson St or Cornell Ave. Will there be chairs available? - A small amount of chairs will be provided in front of the stage - seating is on a first come, first serve basis. If it rains, is the show still on? - As much of a believer as we are in "the show must go on," our main concern is your safety. Our staff will make a judgement call prior to the event and will make every effort to alert you if it is indeed cancelled via email and social media. We have rain dates scheduled (Wednesday, June 22 for this event) for each show and all previously purchased tickets will be honored. ----- Rebekah Meldrum's sound is by no means cut and dried or predictable; she is methodical, if not hypnotic, weaving a spell across seven songs that reflect the multi-decade journey it's taken for her to get here as much as the destination itself. She is in firm command of every aspect of the songwriting process. Says songwriting collaborator Paul Holdman, "It is magic, but it's no illusion. Rebekah Meldrum is a master magician who's just beginning to reveal her bag of tricks." Gordon Bonham has been an integral part of the Indiana blues scene for the last couple of decades. With experiences ranging from backing Chicago blues legends in Chicago as a guitarist, to establishing himself on the Austin, TX music scene, to touring Europe, to being the backbone and the heart and soul of the Indy blues Bonham has established his presence. Through his many recordings, his performances as a solo artist, or by backing blues legends Pinetop Perkins, Robert Lockwood, Jr., Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Jimmy Walker, Bo Diddley, and the transplant Indy blues giant Yank Rachell (a man whose legend runs back to the 1920’s, a man whose influence on blues and rock music simply cannot be understated), Bonham is the essence of 21st century Indianapolis blues. Tad Robinson is the modern voice of soul blues. From his Manhattan roots and his Indiana and Chicago musical upbringing, Tad has caught the attention of the world with his seven Blues Music Award nominations (the Grammys of blues music) and his many recordings, including the song “Rained All Night” which was nominated for Blues Song of the Year at the 2011 Blues Music Awards. He’s a veteran of countless national and international tours, including many of the most important international blues festivals. Tad ranks as one of the most unique and talented members of the international blues and soul communities. Backing this stellar collection of Indy's best is comprised of some of the most in demand Indianapolis sidemen: the great Kenny Phelps on drums (Dee Dee Bridgewater, Melvin Rhyne, Roy Meriwether, Cynthia Layne), Rob Dixon on saxophone (The Headhunters, Mike Clark, Illinois Jaquet, Melvin Rhyne, Cynthia Layne), Kevin Anker on organ, (Delbert McClinton, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tad Robinson, Gordon Bonham, Cynthia Layne) Reggie Bishop on keyboards (Pharez Whitted, Cynthia Layne, Zakk Knight).
