I want to keep Peter Tosh’s music alive. I intend to do it with one or more monthly residences in and about NYC. Peter’s music has a lot of instrumentation. Four keyboard parts often, two guitars, horns, extensive backup vocals, and multiple soloists. I intend to honor it all. My plan is to have a core band with “guest” lead vocalists covering 2 or 3 songs each in the performance. Those lead vocalists may be within the core instrumental band or “walk-on” performers. What I will do: Vision keeper Musical director Chart writer Band manager Producer Bassist and when necessary guitarist, keyboardist, percussionist, backup vocalist.
