Seeking percussionists and tuba & trumpet under 40 for percussion heavy world music project. Some gigs are brass band format; some are percussion only. You should have some experience in African or African Diaspora rhythms (Brazil, Caribbean, PR, Cuba, DR, Haiti etc) Gigs pay $60 and up. Willingness to occasionally busk and rehearse in Central Park is helpful but not neccessary. Some rehearsals in Brooklyn also. Willingness to practice and learn your part at home is essential.
