EXPL.OR Vacation Properties LLC is looking for a Vacation Rental lead Cleaner/ Maintenance Tech to join our team. The responsibility to maintain our properties through-out Central Oregon area. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of home cleanings and maintenance repairs. The ability to assess problems and conduct basic construction and simple repairs. Repairs may consist of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, installation of appliances and the upkeep of the interior and exterior grounds. Essential Position Requirements: • Applicants must have a good understanding of building maintenance which includes but not limited to: • Basic carpentry skills (such as deck construction and repair, wall framing, sheetrock repairs, simple furniture repairs). • Plumbing skills (such as replacing toilets and sinks and replacing faucets, repairing drains, fixing leaks, and repairing or replacing garbage disposals, etc.). • Electrical repair skills (such as lamp repairs, replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures, dryer and washer installation or repairing or replacing dishwashers, etc.). • HVAC, electrical, fire systems and fire alarm systems • Painting interior/ exterior. • All machinery operation • Janitorial and landscaping skills • Seasonal snow and ice removal The candidate will not be expected to perform labor outside the level of expertise requiring trained professional such as licensed electrician and plumber. Working Conditions: • Ability to work independently and remain motivated. • Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed • Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat, snow, etc.) • Ability to stand up and move about the property for the majority of the shift • Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces and can work on ladders. • Ability to handle objects and equipment to maintain property • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Experience/Job Requirements: • Have good communication skills. • Be self-motivated. • Detailed Oriented. • Must have the ability to work well with guest and staff. • Perform work with little supervision. • Have at least 1 year of experience • Must be professional and dependable • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends • Ability to work holidays • Ability to work under pressure • Valid Driver’s License or means of reliable transportation Other: Background check will be performed Mileage reimbursement Pay $30 /Hour Paid every 2 weeks.
