TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating after the body of a man was found floating in the Hillsborough River at Florida Avenue and River Shore Drive Saturday. According to Tampa police, just before 9 a.m., police were sent to the area after receiving a report of a body floating in the river. The identity of the man and the cause of death are unknown at this time.
