WATERFORD, CT — Lloyd Road in Waterford is closed Monday afternoon. Waterford police posted the following: "Lloyd Road in Wtfd is closed due to police activity. We anticipate it being closed for a couple hours. The road is closed as a safety precaution as we deal with an item, not a person. If you live on Lloyd, the officers at either end may or may not be able to allow you access."
