Giles brought over 25 years of community banking experience to CBKC when he joined the bank in 2019. Previously, Giles was EVP and Chief Lending Officer of BankLiberty, a $550 million community bank that sold to a regional financial institution in 2019. Giles’ track record includes successful stints at several area community banks, including as co-founder of Freedom Bank, which started as a de novo in 2006. Giles is an undergraduate degree from William Jewell College, has his MBA from Avila University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
