GREENWICH, CT — A person suffered serious injuries and had to be rescued from a crashed vehicle in Greenwich over the weekend, according to Greenwich fire officials. On Saturday morning, units were called to Lake Avenue on a report of a crash with injuries. Arriving units found someone trapped inside a vehicle. Crews worked for over 20 minutes to extricate the person, who suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, fire officials said. There were no details released on what caused the accident, or how many vehicles were involved.
