ISO small, family dog

I am looking to adopt a small (30 lbs. and below) dog. I live in a small apartment with a fenced yard. We are an active family with one child (3yo). My landlord has to meet the dog first, which is why I haven't had luck at local shelters/rescues as most are first come first serve and are understandably unable to accommodate my specific situation. We are very passionate about finding a dog and are hoping to find someone looking for a loving forever home for a dog that meets these requirements below and are interested working with us. -Must be good with small children (we have a toddler) and other dogs -Can't be a "yappy barker" (according to landlord since we live in an apartment complex) -Up to date on vaccinations. -Spayed/Neutered. - 1 year and older, no puppies - No specific breed EXCEPT Unfortunately no pittbulls (lease rules) I understand this is probably a stretch, but I have depleted all resources and am determined to leave no stone unturned!
