Join Boy Scouts of America, Tidewater Council for the Rick Anoia Scouting Golf Classic at Virginia Beach National Golf Club. The tournament will take place on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Virginia Beach National Golf Club, 2500 Tournament Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. Golfers will enjoy eighteen holes of golf, special events, networking, a longest drive contest, a closest to the pin challenge, two hole-in-one challenges, door prizes, lunch, and an awards banquet. Tidewater Council is the fifth oldest Boy Scouts of America council in the United States, established in 1911. Today, the council serves approximately 4,000 youth and 2,000 adult volunteers in the Virginia cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach, and the North Carolina counties of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans. Scouting programs benefit local boys and girls ages 5-20. Through engaging outdoor activities, Tidewater Council empowers local youth with life skills in character, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness.
