ARLINGTON, VA — Early voting for the June 21 8th congressional district Democratic primary will conclude Saturday in Arlington. This is the only 2022 primary race in Arlington. Rep. Don Beyer is seeking a fifth term as the representative for the 8th congressional district, which includes Arlington County, City of Falls Church, City of Alexandria and part of Fairfax County. The primary challenger is Victoria Virasingh, a former technology industry employee. Because the district leans Democratic, it is likely the winner of the Democratic primary will secure a win in the November general election.
