JOB DESCRIPTION Our team is looking for folks who are interested in working during and after the festival. We are looking for people over the age of 18 to help service the collection, sorting and removal of waste from the festival grounds. This will to help capture a clean stream of recyclables, compost, and other materials that can be diverted from landfill. This job is essential to the environment and the success of the concert. QUALIFICATIONS Over 18 years of age Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures and in a fast paced environment. Ability to work on your feet for 8-hours and easily navigate through grassy and hilly terrain. May be required to lift heavy objects such as trash bags and 5-gallon buckets. Show basic understanding of waste diversion (landfill, recycling, compost). PRIMARY RESPONSABILITES Work with a Waste Collection Supervisor on foot maintaining their assigned zone / area. Pick-up loose debris and trash from the ground. Empty trash/recycling/compost receptacles and replace it with a new waste liner. Relocate full bags of waste to the closest waste removal location back of house for pick-up. Work with a Waste Diversion Supervisor sorting waste. Appropriately sort landfill, compost, and recyclable items to ensure the proper disposal of each into the appropriate roll-off. Assist Waste Operations drivers in unloading waste bags. Breakdown cardboard and properly dispose of liquids. Pay Rate: $22.00 All Federal, State and Unemployment taxes and Social Security will be withheld from your pay. You will be an employee of the company. This is NOT a contractor position. REQUIRED AVAILABILITY Pre-show July 13 – 14, 2022 Shift Times: 8-hour Shifts anytime in between 7am – 7pm Show Days July 15 – 17, 2022 Shift Times: 8-hour Shifts anytime in between 7am – 1am Post-Show Days July 18 – 22, 2022 Shift Times: 8-hour Shifts anytime in between 9am – 5:30pm
