Used for only 4 months as I decided to build a larger cage. Great starter cage for guinea pigs as it has the minimum recommended space needed when using the play yard. We just kept the yard up the whole time and used washable waterproof pads to contain messes. The yard is suitable for adult guinea pigs but babies will require blocking the sides where the yard attaches to the cage, otherwise they can squeeze out. We just used wire mesh and that worked great. Cage has a tray that slides out for easy cleaning. Top opens up on both sides for easily accessing your pets. Includes a hide that attaches to the inside of the cage and a hay feeder. Has some stains on the hide I can’t seem to get out, but maybe I haven’t tried the right cleaner. The price reflects this defect. Paid $120 new (one year ago). Price is firm.
