Our first ever "Benefit for Bloom" is being held at Fergusons Downtown on July 15, 2022. From 7:00 PM- 10:00 PM you can come listen to music, enjoy delicious beverages, play outdoor games, and learn more about Bloom Academy. Bloom Academy is a self-directed learning center that serves as an alternative to school for kiddos in Las Vegas. We believe children are natural learners and will learn the skills they need through their own interests and natural inclinations whenever they feel it’s important or relevant to their lives. We’re different because we guide children to direct their own learning by utilizing their interests, curiosities, and strengths. Bloom offers diverse and optional workshops taught by staff, parents, kids, and volunteers in the community, that give children the opportunity to engage in their own inquiry and develop their own passions and skills. When at Bloom, children choose how to spend their time- whether it be participating in the day's workshops, creating art, using technology, inventing a new game, socializing, or playing.Bloom Academy is open during standard school days and hours and is available to children of all social and economic backgrounds.
