The primary role of the Store Fulfillment Clerk is to perform all the processes involved in the organization, distribution, and request fulfillment of all built bikes at our Distribution Center. Other duties include the tracking of Demo bikes and general flex help on the DC floor with receiving and distribution of product. This job is in our Distribution Center (DC) in Novato, CA. Store Fulfillment Daily Processes • Create transfer documents for all allocated and requested bikes. • Help load bikes into delivery trucks. • Verify quantities of inbound bikes. • Maintain back stock storage and organization of built bikes. • Answer the phone and assist store Associates with requests. • Keep the Inbound/Outbound work area clean, organized and efficient. • May be required to drive delivery truck, if needed in special circumstances. • loading and inventory tracking of bikes donated to the Africa Foundation Requirements: • Accuracy and attention to detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy when verifying part numbers, scanning bikes for transfer and prepping for inventory counts. • Verbal communication skills: Speak clearly and listen carefully to store associates phone inquiries and when working with other DC staff. • Written communication skills: Ability to communicate clear and concise messages to staff and stores. Ability to write professional, understandable email messages to peers, managers and customers. • Computer skills: copy, paste, print, make a new folder, name, rename and organize files and folders. Basic spreadsheet use; enter data, sort, format, and print. • Organization skills: Sort, categorize, label and store items according to standards. • Ability to walk 6 out of the 8 hour shift. • Ability to lift overhead and carry bicycles up to 25 lbs. • Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs. • Ability to use basic hand tools.
