Colomesus asellus, the Amazon puffer, asellus puffer, South American freshwater puffer or Peruvian puffer is a species of pufferfish confined to the Amazon, Essequibo and Orinoco basins in tropical South America. 2 available. $60 each but I prefer to sell together as they are a social fish. Very difficult to find in the US. Healthy specimen and has been dewormed. Eats a ton and very happy. They are pellet trained (very hard to do!) They are adult sized not baby sized. They are pellet trained but love bloodworms and shrimp. Pickup in South San Francisco. Full freshwater fish that love to interact and beg for food.
