Description

Hi y’all! My name is Rebecca, and I’ve been keeping critters my entire life. I’m currently in a Master’s program, studying biology, and intend to earn my exotic vet license next. I have experience with almost every species you can think of, and have a lot of love for every creature I care for. We have experience treating burns, metabolic bone disease, malnutrition, dehydration, parasites, tail rot, and many other health conditions. Our vet is an amazing human, who is always on call to help us treat our critters. Our home has taken in numerous rescue reptiles and small mammals, and we’ve currently got some space for a few more little critters. If you’re looking to rehome one of your animals, I would love to chat with you! Feel free to reach out via text or email, and I promise I’ll get back to you ASAP. Helpful information to know: Name of Critter: Age of Critter: Known History (gender, where they came from and medical/vet history, have they been bred?): Health Complications: Reason for Surrender: (No judgement- just need to know if there’s anything like biting or other circumstances to be aware of) Current Husbandry: (Tank size, lighting, food items/feeding schedule, etc.) Do you have a tank that they will be coming in? We ask that the animal comes with their habitat in these cases. DONATING EXTRA SUPPLIES: I work with a local animal shelter, providing humane education programs for kids, and often bring my lizards to serve as ambassadors for their species. We always need extra supplies, so if you have decorations, vines, lighting fixtures, tanks, or anything really- we would be extremely appreciative. (Also, there’s no judgement here. I understand that life happens, and sometimes the best thing you can do for an animal is to find them a home that better suits everyone’s needs. All I care about is “no bad days”- meaning that we give them the absolute best life possible in every way.) (Rehoming Fees: This is a rescue situation, so I won’t be paying any “rehoming fees” Tags: Reptile, lizard, amphibian, gecko, iguana, chameleon, rescue, rehome)
