Description

Hi friends and family! I'm currently attending UOP (University of Pacific Dental school) in SF. I'm looking for patients who need dental care such as routine check-ups, prophylaxis (regular cleaning), scaling and root planing (deep cleaning with local anesthesia). Services are not free but school accepts Medi-Cal/ Denti-cal (cleaning will be covered once a year for adults and 3-4 times/year for children). Since the service is provided in a teaching environment, we have to inform patients that each appointment will take about 2-3 hours depending on your medical and dental conditions (1st appointment always takes longer and FREE of charge because we have to input your data in the computer). We always try our best to get it done as quickly as possible. We understand time is valuable and we do not want to waste your time. You will have the most thorough dental visit you’ve ever experienced (not your typical private offices). Our hygiene clinic hours are Mon and Thurs 8:15-11:00am, Tues 9:15-11:15am and occasional Fridays afternoon 2-4:00pm. Services we’ll be able to provide during your appointment include: -Extra and intra-oral cancer screening -Medical and Dental history review -Vital signs (blood pressure, pulse rate) -Blood glucose readings (only one time) -ATP and pH readings from your salivary test (only one time) -Radiographs (dental x-rays) if needed -Regular cleaning (prophylaxis) if applicable -Deep cleaning (SRP) with anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide if applicable -Sealants if applicable -Selective coronal polishing (removing extrinsic stains) if applicable -Fluoride treatment -Goodies bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and mouthwash Why UOP? Because we have the most experienced dentists and professionals working with us side by side; so, you know you are in good hands. Additionally, if you need orthodontic treatment (braces), oral surgery (i.e., extractions, implants, impacted wisdom teeth), periodontal department (specialist department for gum disease) or general dentistry (i.e. fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.), we can do it in-house meaning we have EVERYTHING you need!!! If you drive, please allow yourself extra time to park or get around the city. If you take public transit, that’s awesome! We will give you a goodies bag after each visit as long as you show up to your appointment and only with me. Please consider this opportunity as if it benefits us as students who need experience and for you as a patient who takes an initial step to take care of your oral health. So, what else do you have to lose? Feel free to reply to this post or txt me if you're interested. Thank you for your time!
