MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A North Jersey man has gone missing, the Mansfield Township Police Department said Monday afternoon. Robert Bechaud's family last saw him at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to authorities in the Warren County town.
Bechaud recently quit his job and has "very limited funds," his parents told police. He "has been diagnosed with high functioning autism" and was last known to drive a 2012 gray, four-door Honda Accord with New Jersey license plates of X34ERP, police said.
Police described Bechaud as a white man with a slim build; trimmed goatee and beard; and short, crew-style haircut. He has several tattoos, including an unspecified design on his left forearm, barb wire around his right bicep and a heart over his heart.
Anyone with information on Bechaud's whereabouts can contact the Mansfield Township Police Department at 908-689-6222 or its police dispatch at 908-852-0003.
