Collingswood May Soon Allow Parking In This Location

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — More parking may soon be available in part of Collingswood. At the last Collingswood Borough Commissioners Meeting on June 6, commissioners discussed an ordinance that would allow amending one of the borough's codes to remove the current parking restriction on Ogden Avenue from Haddon Avenue to North Atlantic Avenue. This part of Collingswood is within a few blocks of a doughnut shop and yoga studio. Right now, the borough code prohibits parking on that section of Ogden Avenue at any time. The ordinance will be read and voted on a second time at the Collingswood Borough Commissioners Meeting scheduled for July 5 at 7 p.m. in the Community Center. If there are no changes to the proposed ordinance, and it is approved and published in accordance with state law, parking should be allowed on that section of Ogden Avenue by the end of July.
