The Alaska Native Heritage Center is hosting a culture camp for 18-24 year old Alaska Native men and women. The culture camp will include walrus scrimshaw carving classes, while giving opportunities for employment development and housing. This camp incorporates indigenous ways of learning through traditional mentorship, storytelling, and knowledge-sharing.
There will be care team members throughout the camp along with many instructors who will help the participants in a more personalized way.
