Description
Unfortunately we are needing to find a new home for our 6 month old puppy we got earlier this year. We have a small child in the house and she has proven to be just too excitable around him and for his safety we need to re-home her. "Lady" hasn't been to the vet yet so she is still needing all her vaccines and to be spayed. She will do best in a home with no children or older children, LOTS OF ROOM, other large breed dogs, probably no cats. She has been living with 2 cats but tends to chase pretty intensely and needs to be taught by other dogs that she needs to play a little nicer. She isn't aggressive by any means but is teething and gets very nippy and chewy during high excitement times and could use some solid socialization with other dogs to learn her limits. She LOVES people and small children but simply gets too excited for her size and poses a risk. When she's lounging my 4 year old son quite literally lays on her and pulls on her and she tolerates it just fine.(This is very dangerous and children should NEVER be unsupervised while around pets, he does these things because I tell him not to..)
All in all Lady is going to make a wonderful companion for someone who has another large breed dog or someone who has plenty of time to focus on her training and exercise. She is potty trained and will whine to alert you when she needs to go out. She is also VERY food driven and needs a lot of work on begging.
The $50 re-homing fee includes a large wire kennel, harness and 16ft retractable leash, martingale collar(which we use during playtime to avoid accidental human chewing targets/she is very responsive to it), ~1/2 30lb bag of Pedigree Puppy food, multiple bags of treats, and multiple toys.
