Hello! I'm a full-time housesitter & petsitter in Asheville, NC, and I currently have completely open availability for July and August. I have professional experience with reptiles and aquatics, local rescue volunteer experience with cats, and have cared for special needs animals for my entire life. I personally have kept dogs, cats, geckos, amphibians, rodents, fish, invertebrates, parrots, and livestock - including horses, chickens, goats, pigs, and cattle! There are very few animals I have not extensively worked with (professionally, in a rescue setting, or personally as a hobbyist) and I focus on ethical husbandry with all animals under my care. My basic rate for full-time housesitting is $30/day + $10 per pet, but I'm very flexible and can work with you based on your needs - I'm open to payment plans, trades for houseplants, household items, crafts, etc. If you have a dog, horse, parrot, or any animal that receives medications, I do require an in-person meeting to go over expectations, ensure everyone's safety, and generally get to know each other before I am comfortable being responsible for their care.
