Young pro bassist looking for band

I am looking for a local working cover band or the right original project. As far as cover project I am pretty open. I played in a 70s-80s classic rock band for the last few years and would do that again or something different. I'm a big fan of funk, blues, grunge, and rock. Even if I don't know a lot of your setlist, if I like it I'm down. I think one of my best skills as a musician is learning songs fast. I learned 50 songs in a month for my last band for a gig and I could do it again. As far as an original project I would love a funk rock jam type project. I know original stuff takes a lot more time and energy so I get it if gigging isn't on the agenda as long as it is a goal with a plan. It really just comes down to meeting some like minded individuals I can have fun playing music and be friends with.
