BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook is reminding residents that cooling centers are available as dangerous heat approaches the Chicago area. The National Weather Service Chicago is warning of dangerously hot temperatures, with heat index values between 105 and 109 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday. The weather service has issued a heat advisory from noon Tuesday to 8 p.m. Wednesday. In Bolingbrook, the expected high is 97 degrees on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Cooling centers can be found in Bolingbrook at: The Promenade Bolingbrook, building 400 behind the Barnes and Noble and building 700 off Janes Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.Fire Station No. 4, 1111 W.
