We Really Don't Need This

A 51st state. Washington D.C. is only a city full of liberals. The idea of D.C. statehood amounts to little more than a power grab by Democrats to expand the majority in the Senate by adding two more senators from a liberal enclave. The consideration is a waste of time, taxpayer money, and a waste of energy that can be put forth to help solve Americas problems. But Democrats are not interested in solving problems. They are, after all, the ones who created them in the first place. How naive of me to think or suggest they need to solve some problems. But we just don't need a state of Washington D.C. Besides, its residents will be paying more taxes upon statehood. That is something the mayor doesn't want people to know.
