First, today's weather: A t-storm around in the p.m.. High: 96 Low: 76. Here are the top three stories in Buckhead today: After a natural gas leak on Browns Mills Road yesterday, several local businesses were forced to evacuate. The leak was reported to the Fire Department at around 10 a.m., and the area on Krog Street was blocked off all the way from Edgewood Avenue to Irwin Street NW. Atlanta Gast Light reported that a contractor unrelated to their organization struck a natural gas line around 10:30 a.m., which caused the ruptured gas line. Not only were the businesses directly affected by the gas leak forced to evacuate, but three businesses nearby were forced to evacuate as well. (Atlanta Patch) Todd Ginsberg, a well-renowned Atlanta chef, has recently opened a new restaurant, Dirty Rascal in the Thompson Buckhead hotel! Ginsberg is known for his work at General Muir and Wood's Chapel BBQ, but this restaurant is different, as many of the meals and even the name is inspired by his mother and her cooking. This brand new spot will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with dishes including handmade pasta and offers an array of specialty cocktails to go with the food as well. (FOX 5 Atlanta)After a shooting that took place outside the Grady Hospital Sunday night, the Atlanta Police Department is looking for the people involved in the attack. As a result of the shooting, one person passed away, and the other was left injured. The incident originated as a family conflict in DeKalb County, but it escalated outside of the hospital. The incident forced the entire building into lockdown, and police are actively looking for the shooters.
