Job Title: Houseman / Handyman, Live-out Indian Wells Job Description: A private family seeks an experienced professional Houseman / Handyman to assist with the maintenance of their private residence in Indian Wells. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, energetic, and discreet, with experience working in private households. Must be self-motivated, self-driven, no job is too big or too small, very hands-on, and willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. Responsibilities for this role are as listed below: • Responsible for upkeep, maintenance, repairs, emergency response for all building structures from sheds, fences, walls, garages, furniture, pool, HVAC systems, gates, windows, landscape, lighting, etc. • Responsible for checking/maintaining all the exterior • Garbage/Recycle removal and trash-can cleaning as needed • Coordinating with outside vendors and contractors • Exercise common sense and can take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions • Caring for all vehicles including cleaning the interior, checking for engine oil inspection, legal registrations, insurance upkeep, always ensuring the pristine condition of the vehicle • Assisting with maintaining exterior cleaning supplies well stocked and keeping inventory lists up to date • Assisting in oversight of any construction and renovation projects • Work as part of a team, assisting the housekeeper with interior maintenance as needed • Running errands and adhering to special requests as needed Schedule: M-F (40- 50 hours) Must be flexible to work weekends as needed by principal Compensation: Salary is generous but depends on experience Benefits: Benefits package included (Health insurance, vacation, overtime, etc.) Please send over a recent C.V with a brief introduction.
