Job Summary: Perform painting of wall, ceiling surfaces of the hospital. Qualifications:  Experience in commercial painting.  Knowledge of procedures related to these fields. Physical Capabilities: Capable of passing basic physical. Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Vision and hearing needs to be in normal range. Occasional exposure to stressful situations. Job Duties, Critical Functions:  Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and supplies.  Uses standard precautions at all times.  Maintain stock levels of paints and supplies.  Uses safety equipment, PPE and demonstrates proper lifting procedures.  Knowledge and use of proper procedure for painting.  Professional with patients, staff and visitors.  Use safety precautions and procedures, including proper signage when necessary.  Attends in-service on SDS, hazardous materials, safety equipment and safety issues.  Ensures availability of needed equipment and supplies.  Other duties as assigned Customer Service: Provide confidentiality, privacy, dignity, professionalism, courtesy, compassion, politeness, respect, and safety towards patients, staff, visitors, and co-workers. Maintains employee / patient confidentiality.
